Vova Tess has seen success at a young age. He was born and raised in NYC in a middle class family. He was always ambitious and wanted to experiment and try new things. In high school Vova started to notice that he was always satisfied and comfortable with where he was because he had been comparing himself to the people around him. He said that when you’re in high school everyone is basically the same: average. So the only people he was around and compared himself to were average people. In result, he was going to be average as well. When he started to surround himself with like-minded people through mentorship, books, courses, podcasts, and talking to people that are actually successful in e-commerce that’s when his success started.
The Importance of Mentorship
Vova Tess: The first mentor I had was Noah Brewer. Noah taught me to always be 100% transparent. I would like to thank most of my success in drop shipping to Noah because he scaled my first store from doing 300-500 a day to 1500-2000 a day and really showed me advanced Facebook ads along with teaching me how to scale.
Defining Success
Vova Tess: I would define success as being able to live life on your own terms and doing what you want when you want. Not having to abide by anybodies terms but your own.
Building a Personal Brand = More Business
Vova Tess: Building a personal brand was the best thing I ever did. It allowed me to network with like- minded individuals as well as help other people make money through dropshipping by exposing myself and making myself known.
What are the most exciting projects you are working on now?
Vova Tess: Right now I’m starting to get into Amazon FBA which is a great business model and also looking to get started with real estate down the line as well.
What’s your why?
Vova Tess: I want to show people that are struggling financially that it could and will get better with the proper guidance. If I as a kid in high school could develop a stable income stream, than anybody else can too.
