I recently had the chance to sit with Brandon for an interview, Brandon is a young entrepreneur that helps insurance agents get booked appointments using his policy engine system.
Brandon, What is it that you do, How old are you, and What inspired you to do this.
Well, I started my journey pretty young, way back in college while learning how to use digital marketing and strategies to grow an online business. I would go to class and not really pay attention to what the teacher was saying or doing. I was so focused on growing my business that school was something I never really cared about. I dropped out when I was 20 years old and now I’m helping insurance agents get booked appointments using our policy engine system.
What made you drop out?
I hated school, it was something that never really interested me. I literally dreaded school and didn’t like the fact that the educational system dictated what class I need to take and what I need to meet requirements.
What motivated you to become an entrepreneur
Freedom, Financially and time. I think a combination of these two is what made me consider choosing this path. I wanted more out of life and I didn’t want to just follow society’s norms of going to school, getting a degree, and working a 9-5 for the rest of my life.
Why did you choose working with insurance agents?
Well, initially it was with a variety of different niches. It wasn’t until I found this industry that I found myself really like working with people motivated to help families and their loved ones get covered. What really pushed me though was that a lot of agents would go into this industry thinking that they would be earning pockets full of cash. The industry is so deceptive and at times not in the interests of the agents. I want to build something that can help agents achieve the financial success they dream of while helping families and their loved ones get coverage. It’s a win win.
Why do you think most agents fail?
Well, in my opinion. The agents who succeed are the ones who treat being an agent as a full time business. They aren’t partially committed or have their foot halfway out the door. The agents that I see succeed are the ones who are consistently looking for more efficient ways to improve their lead generation and filling up their pipeline with people interested in insurance products.
Why should agents work with you?
Our systems are bulletproof. We literally have the process nailed down to a T and have been helping insurance agents get booked appointments without having to do any work. What makes us different is that we don’t sell leads, and we don’t just do appointment setting.
Our process is attracting online leads using targeting ads, getting my internal sales team to qualify leads for my clients, and booking appointments directly onto the agents calendar. The agent can literally sit back an entire afternoon and just see an appointment being scheduled the next day on autopilot. It’s really that simple.
Best part about this process is that it’s so streamline that we include 14 pieces of lead information and we pass it onto the agent. It’s not just a lead anymore it’s a hyper qualified lead that is booked onto the agents calendar so the agents know it’s a quality appointment.
Who is your system for?
Our system is for agents who are tired of dealing with buying expensive, shared, and crappy leads that don’t convert into sales. It’s also for agents who are tired of having to manually spend 1-2 days setting their own appointments and dealing with all the headaches that come with it. We have agents who no longer spend their Mondays and Thursday dialing because they have a system dialed down to where it’s no longer necessary.
If an agent is looking for a system that gets them an additional 25-50 final expense appointments every single month, then it would be a great fit.
What would you say to any entrepreneur struggling to succeed?
Don’t be afraid to lose money and continuously invest in yourself.
