In response to the Trump administration’s recent comments against China, Hua Chunying says that the Chinese government is focusing on improving livelihood, global peace, and stability maintenance. There is no truth to what the critics claim that there are ongoing expansion and influence on different areas such as technology, economy, the military, and many more.
However, United States Attorney General William Barr sees China’s actions as questionable and dominant because of how they immediately flagged the market with protective gear at the start of the coronavirus outbreak. Barr warned different American business leaders not to promote policies and make decisions that could help or become in favor of Beijing. He further stated that China dominated the market and played a role in supply blockage to countries in need and hoarding different supplies.
Barr added that the Chinese government is currently working to target different American research and information connected to COVID-19.
“The People’s Republic of China is now engaged in an economic blitzkrieg- an aggressive, orchestrated, the whole of government campaign to seize the commanding heights of the global economy and to surpass the United States as the world’s preeminent technological superpower.”

Foreign Minister Wang Yi, China’s top diplomat, and State Councilor recently called out the Trump administration for initiating a war between the two largest economies in the world. He added that China “has no intention of becoming another United States” because it does not take part in interfering with other countries’ internal affairs and or ideology exportations.
For the past years, China and the United States have been in a rift, especially when it comes to the recent trade war. The tension resulted in each country increasing the tariffs for the opposite party’s products, and it also affected the way the U.S. government sees China’s products. Recently, the U.S. targeted Huawei and Tiktok.
Hua Chunying stated that China remained in the leading position when it came to research about the outbreak, vaccines, and many more. Hua also said that their country is an independent sovereign state with the right to fight back against the United States’ bullying, mainly when targeted on the achievements and interests made by the Chinese people.
