If there is one thing that Hannes Rydell learned early in life, it is that entrepreneurship has no guarantees and there are a million things that could go wrong or be lost. If you can let go of the fear of losing a few things, you´ll be able to have a much lighter vibe in everyday life. Moreover, Rydell already knew that getting people to buy into your ideas is easier than you think if you know what they want to hear.
Today, Hannes is just 21 and runs the SaaS company DropInGolf Sweden AB with the same foundational business idea which won him Best Business Idea at the prestigious Creative Dragons. In under 6 months, Hannes was able to scale his company from 2 connected golf clubs to more than 40. At the same time, his company increased its user base from roughly 1,000 to over 15,000.
Getting It Right From the Beginning
From as early as 18, Hannes put himself in the way of meeting all the important people in his line of interest. He is not strange to such people as music producer Niclas Molinder, who is the founder of the tech-company Auddly, Björn Ulvaeus from world-famous music group ABBA, as well as producer Max Martin. Hannes has had an opportunity to do business with former PGA-Tour Player and entrepreneur Mathias Grönberg. He was ranked as the 65th golfer in the world at his time and also played with Tiger Woods in the 2003 Open Championship.
According to Hannes, almost all of his success has come from getting the right people to listen to him. “I believe that the skill of getting other people to buy into your ideas is the most valuable of all as an entrepreneur,” he says.
But you have to start somewhere, and most young entrepreneurs don’t know where or how.
A Secret for Young Entrepreneurs
It occurred to Hannes that even if most of his peers wanted to start businesses, none of them made it past the first stages of starting up. For him, the initial success mindset he had helped lay a strong foundation for breaking all business barriers. Hannes observes that “As a young entrepreneur you´ll be interacting with a lot older people in your day-to-day life and it’s crucial to mentally see yourself on the same level as these people if you want them to take you seriously.”
He adds, “From what I´ve seen there are many different courses out there that teach people entrepreneurship in some shape or form. However, I figured that there are mainly two types out there to choose from, courses that teach you only one business model or courses that teach you only one skill.”
The fact that every new business has so many areas that need specialized work makes starting and running small and medium businesses a challenge for many. “Almost no first-time business owners have the opportunity to hire people right from the start which means that you´ll be responsible for all of these areas yourself,” Hannes says.
One Simple Method That Works
As a firsthand witness of how one achieves business success, Hannes created a simple method for ambitious entrepreneurs. Describing how his method works, Hannes says that “Startup Rocket Academy creates a source of knowledge that helps you to reach a good enough level of knowledge and skill in the most vital areas of starting up a business and scaling it to full potential.”
To succeed, Hannes had to develop a strong idea and strongly believed in his own natural talent for entrepreneurship. With this in mind, he thought that it was only a matter of time before things started happening which made it possible for him to persevere through the tough starting steps. However, you don’t have to pass through the same tough process that is cut out for almost all bussing entrepreneurs today.
Hannes Rydell’s Startup Rocket Academy is your best bet in achieving the success that your idea is capable of.
