19-Year-Old Marketing Wizard Blake Wynn and dropped out of Fordham University in NYC to become the youngest CEO of a sports marketing agency that already has over 30 NFL clients. @Bwynnsports helps professional athletes, famous musicians and very notable public figures get brand deals, endorsements, appearances and paid promotions
Entrepreneurship isn’t a new concept for Blake Wynn who’s been paying taxes since the age of 13. Instead of finishing college he decided to drop out and focus on building his own business. When interviewing Blake it was easy to forget how young he really is. He already has goals for the next ten years and a plan for the next 60, something many 19 year old’s haven’t even thought about.
Using his age to his advantage
Blake’s young age gives him a BIG advantage in the marketing game. According to Blake his goal is to become the number 1 marketing agency for NFL players and entertainers. By creating organic content for premium athletes he believes that marketing can be more engaging than simply posting a picture and hashtag about a product.
By the time Blake ended high school he had amassed a following on social media of over 600,000 and leverage it to build his own marketing company that works with top NFL players and large sports clothing brands like Puma and Stock X. His ability to get the best sportswear that money could buy also got him access to many athletes and entertainers. They would come to him to get their hands on the latest apparel. This sparked the idea to create a way for sports athletes to land larger brand deals. He decided to create his own marketing company to help professionals in the sports industry expand their outreach and create opportunities for them to own and showcase their favorite brands.
Letting his results speak
Blake credits his success to his credibility and experience letting his results speak. Many young entrepreneurs are all talk at time but Blake does everything through his actions. When asked how he could help other young entrepreneurs who are seeking to build their own marketing empire he said that results are king! “Build a personal brand for yourself and if you’re successful in doing that, then you can share your ideas with larger companies—you will be able to get a job anywhere or build your own personal brand. “He also stated how there is money to be made in simply having a successful personal brand and if a young man like him can do it, anyone can. The road isn’t easy, but if you’re willing to do what it takes to generate the results, anything can happen. Wynn is determined to provide only the most authentic experience for his customers by staying true to his brand and clients, and his willing to go the extra mile to offer the best results possible
As a social media influencer who has been on the other side of marketing, Blake didn’t like the idea that most marketing companies that deal with professional athletes only want their clients to work with them. He feels that the client should be able to work with any number of agencies to ensure that they are properly represented. Blakes company is nonexclusive, allowing his clients to go sign with 10 agencies if they want. Blake is just there to help his clients make more money and build meaningful relationships.
