How did this exceedingly popular Instagrammer reach the level of popularity she enjoys today? Well, Lena’s journey with Instagram started around six years ago. It was actually her assistant, Allison, who encouraged her to create a page. At first, she laughed at the idea, because she didn’t know what she would be sharing with others. Her assistant told her she could share whatever interested her. So, she started out with a private Instagram page, where she was only connected with her real-life friends.
Once she was on Instagram and seeing the posts others were making, she was astounded by how many people were showing off their shoes and bags. In fact, at first, she thought that it was such a silly idea. Fast-forward to six years later, and Lena is showing off her unique fashion style, and usually some bags and shoes as well.
Today, she is known as a lover of long dresses and gowns, clutches and handbags of all kinds, and plenty of high heels. Her extraordinary vibrant style of boldness has become something of an icon on Instagram.
Oddly enough, Lena was never one of those girls growing up who was playing with Barbie dolls all day and picking out their outfits. In fact, she was practically a tomboy during her entire childhood. She would always be climbing trees, playing with cars, and fishing. She would even find and collect her own worms to use as bait while fishing.
How did a girl who would rather get muddy and climb trees become a fashionista? It all started by her feeling like she needed to express herself somehow. She feels fashion is a way to do that and let your individuality shine through the clothes you wear. Plus, it was a healthy way for her to deal with a chronic illness she has been struggling with for the past 20 years. Even though she still deals with its challenges every day, she keeps an upbeat and positive attitude, which shows very clearly on her Instagram page.
You may think that it takes her quite a bit of time to put together her outfits. After all, it’s not uncommon for Instagram influencers to spend hours preparing for their photoshoots. However, Lena’s a bit different. It only takes her around 5-10 minutes to whip together a stunning outfit that millions of her fans adore. That goes to show you that it doesn’t have to be this incredibly complicated and drawn-out process.
