Some of the most important lessons in life are learned through the most difficult times. Whether we are learning how to build resilience and face obstacles head on, there is a beauty in all of it. The beauty comes from the ability to embrace adversity and reach success that was once deemed impossible. Undeterred by his adversities, Sam Bakhtiar has taken every lesson learned and has built a 50 million dollar empire.
As a family oriented individual and owner of several businesses, Sam Bakhtiar continues to redefine what entails to be a successful entrepreneur. At the early age of 11, Sam Bakhtiar moved to the United States as a refugee of war. He and his family settled in a small town in the state of Pennsylvania. It is through this move that Bakhtiar was able to take advantage of the opportunities for higher education. Bakhtiar has a Masters from Pennsylvania State University in Life Science Nutrition along with a Doctorate in Chiropractic from the Los Angeles College of Chiropractic (LACC). His extensive education is matched by his incredible knowledge on body transformations and fitness.
Only One Destination: Fitness
Raised by a single-mother, Sam Bakhtiar was encouraged to not give up and it is when he found in fitness the means to be one step closer to who he wanted to be. Bakhtiar grew up fascinated with soccer and while there were no programs that offered such sport, he tried for the local basketball team. As a naturally scrawny individual with a lack of athletic experience, Bakhtiar did not make the team. He then resorted to a local boys club. Bakhtiar began familiarizing himself with lifting weights and the results he obtained were beyond impressive. His body was transforming and so did his ambition for success.
Sam Bakhtiar was fascinated by the results he was obtaining and he knew this was where he wanted to be. It was his mother, however, who encouraged him to pursue a career—and a chiropractic seemed to fit. While pursuing a career was not the route Sam wanted to take, his interest for fitness allowed him to enjoy his educational journey.
The CEO Mindset: All in or All out
Bakhtiar’s passion for fitness and the power that comes from body transformations has enabled him to reach rapid success. The work ethic and drive that his mother instilled in him has been pivotal to his ability to go all in—in everything he does. Sam Bakhtiar’s all in all out mindset has opened the door to consistency and has served as a way to produce effective results.
So much has been his success and outcomes that he currently serves as the CEO of a franchise of over 100 gym locations in the US and Mexico. As the co-founder of the Camp Transformation Centers, Bakhtiar has helped get people in the best shape of their life. Bakhtiar is also the founder of One Percent Nutrition which is one of the fastest growing nutrition supplement companies in the US. He has taken his fascination with body transformations and has built an empire that continues to impact the way we see fitness and the outcomes that come from it.
Where You Are Now is Not Where You Will Be
The most important question Sam Bakhtiar has asked himself is: are you willing you to pay the price to get to where you want to be? Bakhtiar’s success has been because of his ability to find the why and follow through with it. He is aware that the road up to this point has been nothing short of challenges and adversities but he has learned to endure them. He has found way to push harder despite his struggles and he has taken his past to find his path in fitness.
With nearly 60k followers on Instagram and a continuous drive to achieve the unimaginable, Sam Bakhtiar is a prime example that where you have been or where you are now is now where you will be. You will be what you want to be as long as you are willing to work like no other—and Bakhtiar is one of the few who has achieved such milestone.
