Zach Paone is a 26 year old entrepreneur with a love for helping businesses acquire customers. Paone started his journey in college, studying finance by day and waiting tables at a restaurant by night. He often found himself skipping out on the boring finance homework and taking online courses on data science, information technology, pattern recognition and digital marketing. Struggling to finish college, he realized he wanted to start his own business to use his self developed advertising and data reading skill set to scale businesses by optimizing their customer acquisition processes. So, after years of side hustles like driving for Uber and waiting tables to fund his business ideas, he finally created something he could take pride in, Advincible Media, a premier customer acquisition agency specializing in messenger chat bot marketing.
From Uber to World Class Entrepreneur! Congrats on your Success! Can you tell us the story of your prior successes, challenges, and major responsibilities?
I have always been a highly motivated person with a chip on his shoulder. This stems from being a 3 sport athlete through most of my life and always being the shortest person in the game, but still competing at the highest levels. I am grateful that my parents were very supportive and worked hard to give me the freedom to go after what I truly want.
Zach, you’re on top now. Can you tell me about a time when you almost gave up, how you felt about that, and what you did instead of giving up?
During the tough starting years of an entrepreneurial journey and being open about my very high goals and expectations, I took a lot of criticism. Anyone and everyone would call me crazy, laugh and mock me when I would talk about financial freedom, working online around the world and leveraging digital platforms to generate cash flow. I almost gave up when some close friends and even someone I loved dearly told me I was a loser. Instead of giving up, I let it become my motivation, by proving those people wrong, but more importantly, proving myself right!
