Jaabecca Jones is a renowned entrepreneur and financial literacy coach from Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
However, things were not always that way. His life changed on October 26th, 2017, when he was sentenced to 6 years in prison for selling drugs. Jaabecca recalls, “ I remember the pain I caused my family, so I made a promise to change my life and use my story to change and inspire the world.”
Since then, his promise to redeem himself has paid off big. He has built a business and a platform that reaches all 50 States with the message of Financial Literacy and the power of Entrepreneurship.
The Beginning
“I always wanted to be a successful entrepreneur and success coach. My major obstacle was my thinking.” Jaabecca recalls.
“I had the notion that I knew everything and wanted to make fast money.” This idea became a downward spiral of negative thinking that proceeded to him selling drugs and eventually serving two years in prison.
Although he made some bad choices and the odds of an ex-con are hardly ever favorable. He was dauntless about his goals. Jaabecca was determined to use his past as a platform. He believes that anyone can be successful with unwavering determination and consistent work ethic.
The 4-Step Process
Some of Jaabecca’s most successful platforms are Facebook and Instagram. Jaabecca shared a four-step process that helped him build a business that generates 6 figures in sales every month.
- Brand yourself as an authority

- Inspire your audience with your story and encouraging words
- Move people to action: to purchase your service or product.
He notes that anyone can make a name for her or himself and build an income stream on social media.
Relentless self-improvement
For Jaabecca, his only competition is the best person he can be.
Jaabecca states : “I don’t compete with people, instead I compete with my constant drive for self-improvement. My mission is to teach and inspire people to do and be more than they believed was ever possible.”
What was Your Reason for Launching a Financial Literacy Franchise?
“I was never taught about the benefits of financial literacy; it wasn’t even something I cared about until I married my wife. I knew that people needed to learn about personal finance so I set out to build a financial education platform.” – mentioned Jaabecca.
His wife always shared her passion on the importance of credit and was the reason they bought their first home.
Staying close to God
“God has been good to me”. Jaabecca states. He has a supportive wife, and his motivation is his children. He also has a remarkable mentor and believes they are just getting started. As he states it, “The best is yet to come”.
“Giving credit to God”, he states God allowed him and his wife to build a million-dollar successful platform due to her “love for financial education and his enthusiasm for entrepreneurship.”
