Making an appearance on the junior version of the popular show Dancing With the Stars, Kameron has already seen amazing opportunities at only 13 years old. She started dancing at just 7 years old, and went on to start winning national titles the year after. Growing up in Michigan, Kameron and her family decided to move to Los Angeles, California after realizing the potential that the young talent had.
Kameron saw immense growth in her career through Dancing With the Stars, and is currently signed to a talent agency in LA. She works different jobs dancing and modeling. At 13 years old, Kameron is far beyond her years in success. However, it wasn’t necessarily a walk in the park for her to get to where she is today.
Kameron works hard every day to maintain her lifestyle and continue to grow her career. Kameron trains over 20 hours a week dancing while juggling her schooling. On top of that, she has to maintain a healthy, consistent diet and take proper care of her body to avoid injury and lose out on jobs. At her young age, it can be a lot; however, Kameron is proud of the fact that she can manage everything at once, and is proud of the sacrifices she makes. “Most 13-year-olds are having sleepovers on the weekends while I’m either training, competing, working, or doing homework. I have given up a lot to follow my dreams.”
Kameron’s hard work definitely is paying off for her. She already has a loyal fan base of almost 70,000 followers on Instagram alone, and finds that a lot of young dancers are already looking up to her. Kameron encourages her young admirers to never give up. “It’s easy to get discouraged… Do not ever compare yourself to anyone else or worry about what anyone else is doing… What is meant for you, will find you.”
