KuCoin — a leading cryptocurrency exchange based in Seychelles — held a blockchain meetup in Moscow on October 18th, to discuss major trends in the industry and solutions to address ongoing challenges. The event featured a slate of speakers from leading blockchain projects such as Maxonrow and Blockcloud.
Maxonrow’s speaker followed the keynote speech from KuCoin, accompanied by orators from Blockcloud, Akro, and concluded with a live AMA with the KuCoin team.
The event followed on the heels of KuCoin’s announcement at the Blockchain Life Forum 2019 in Moscow that the exchange will be rolling out monthly futures contracts for Bitcoin in a few weeks for its KuMEX derivatives platform.
Maxonrow was one of the central figures at the Moscow Meetup after introducing its MAX-Wallet last month in New York City and concluding its #MaxonWorld Tour with its final meetup in Bangkok earlier this month. The Max-Wallet has already garnered more than 50k downloads in the first 20 days of its release.
Maxonrow is an emerging blockchain startup that fuses existing KYC standards into a public blockchain where user identities are secured, decentralized, and entirely at the control of users themselves. The platform is designed to bridge conventional regulatory practices with the advantages of blockchain-based applications and consists of an SDK, identity chain, certificate authority services, and other features.
Maxonrow lead a lineup of speakers at the KuCoin meetup and covered a range of topics derived from their insights into the blockchain sector over the course of the platform’s development.
Maxonrow’s MXW token was officially listed on Kucoin on October 14th, a week after the completion of its security audit with blockchain security audit firm, SlowMist.
“Driving the mass adoption of the blockchain technology and bringing more trust, security and transparency to the world has always been a mission of ours at KuCoin. We are extremely proud to empower MXW by Maxonrow, who honors the same values,” detailed KuCoin Founder and CEO, Michael Gan in the Maxonrow official announcement.
