What were you doing during your teen years? Or what are you currently doing? You probably spend most of your youth being told what to do and asking for money from your parents like most. While it is a common occurrence and positively not evil to follow this path, this was not the case for young entrepreneurs Fotios Tsiouklas and Alan Gokoglu. They took a different route at a young age. Under 20 years old, both Fotios and Alan currently run multiple businesses, some of which are valued at over $5 million and they are just getting started.
Fotios & Alan At A Glance
Fotios and Alan have known each other since Year 7. Initially, they didn’t get along as friends but later became best mates, extending far into the business world. At just 13 years old, Fotios was already selling gaming codes online and then went on to sell things on eBay. He would buy broken phones in bulk, fixing them and reselling them refurbished. Later he taught himself App Development and Social Media Marketing, something that would go to shape his career afterward.
At just 10 years old, Alan started making plugins for games when he first started to learn how to program. That’s not all, at age 12 he made his first app store games and went on to building utility applications. Then, at age 15 he reverse-engineered social media algorithms in order to build his first business which generated about 50k profit.
Now, Alan and Fotios run multiple businesses, including :
Kickspan.com – The website was initially created as a basic growth service for social media. To accumulate clients, they used data collection and email marketing as their primary sources of traffic. They had over 12,000 clients join the platform in 2 years and currently have 4,500 clients active. The business has expanded the range of products and now does lead generation, data collection, email marketing, SMS marketing, web development, and app development.
Nightclubs – The Duo currently owns 3 significant clubs in Melbourne, including Mango Fridays, Levels Melbourne, and Uni Bash. They also throw many house parties uniting influencers and use the nightclubs to network for business.
TikToks.com – Fotios and Alan purchased the domain TikToks.com with a prediction that TikTok would become the next most prominent social media platform in the world. The domain is currently valued at $145K, and this figure is growing by the hour.
Apps4Brands – Through this software, Fotios and Alan aim to remove the barriers of creating mobile apps. The software will allow people to build a mobile app in under 1 hour.
Property Development – The Duo has a keen interest in real estate as well. They recently bought a small percentage of a $25 million building in the Melbourne CBD. They are also doing development for three units on a block of land they have purchased.
Success Does Not Just Happen; You Create It
Fotios and Alan bring tons of experience in the tech, ecommerce, and social media marketing space. They have developed the business from the ground up. After gaining knowledge in app development, Fotios and Alan, for instance, went on to produce dozens of apps. In 3 years, between 2015-2018, they sold over 100 apps, fetching over $360K in revenue. In 2018, they launched Clout the Game, in collaboration with major artists like Supreme Patty, XXXTENTACION, and YBN Nahmir. The game was developed in partnership with Kuei Kuei. By August the same year, the game hit the top 10 list on the App Store across the United States. The game delivers 1M ads and overtook some vast social media apps on the charts.
Fotios and Alan have also created several ecommerce businesses. Currently, they run two e-commerce stores: slime heroes.com and smotiv.com, which generate passive income through automated marketing systems. They also design websites for clients with various plug-ins and custom features.
Lessons To Learn
Fotios and Alan have built a business empire through local knowledge, discipline, and sheer focus to do great things. They have overcome challenges along the way. If anything, Fotios and Alan know what it takes to work for what you want. They are young, energetic, and determined to make a difference.
