Professionally known as Emery Lane, Cameron Furniss has used his passion for travel and design to create a career. He has begun numerous projects involving his interests, creating fashion brands, being a designer to others, and creating a travel service designed to help travelers have their best vacations. He’s also working to expand his reach as a social media influencer, creating content for his audience of over 130,000 people.
Utilizing his passion for design, Cameron first started his own high-fashion brand VOLVIONN. For almost 2 years, he had an alternative clothing line that ran with Hot Topic, before moving in a new direction with VOLVIONN. Currently, his brand is on hold due to work on other projects. He has also used his fashion and design skills to serve as a designer for different musical artists, including X-Factor finalist Lillie McCloud.
Following his fashion brand, Furniss started a new company called Novana. Novana is a 5-star booking and concierge service aims to provide travelers with memorable vacations. The service works by fulfilling the guests’ needs both before and during their trips. A web platform is currently in the works, which would allow expansion around the globe. Expansion through the web platform would make the service available at more tourist destinations.
Cameron is also focusing on expanding his reach as a social media influencer. He got his start with social media posting videos targeted towards teens, on subjects such as travel and overcoming depression. His videos reached upwards of 1 million views globally. Since then, he posts regularly on his website and social media, promoting brands and providing reviews for his followers. He aims to eventually work with a few major travel and fashion brands to create content for them and his followers.
