A famous online personality, and the founder of Instagram page called Jokeshub, Meharyar has been creating waves on social media of late.
Social media has transformed the world in ways indescribable, it has also generated ways of income for anyone who is smart enough to understand and seize the opportunities it has to offer. One such youth from Pakistan has capitalized on the digital medium and made it surprisingly big. Meharyar Khan is known as an Instagram growth expert for a reason, read on to know why.
In 2012, during the early days of Instagram in Pakistan, when Instagramming was unknown to all, Meharyar created his own Instagram page, where he used to post funny comic material created by him which would sometimes even include pictures of him reacting with texts on them.
Since the beginning, his main focus was targeting the world audience and with this aim, he started expanding his reach by posting engaging content. His collaboration with US-based comic makers gained him a decent number of followers which majorly comprised of the audience from The United States of America. This was back in the times when comics were trendy and one of the limited sources of entertainment on Instagram.
In about 1.5 years his page reached 100K+ followers and ranked as the most followed Instagram page in Pakistan. But soon the trend of comics died down. Meharyar quickly picked up the trend and saw the immense business potential in meme and quote pages. He changed his page’s username a couple of times to fit in with the trends but eventually settled for the name Jokeshub, which is one of the most followed accounts on social media in today’s times.
Meharyar has spent many sleepless nights working to get the page to the top, we can only imagine what the future holds with him, but it seems like he’s all braced up for 2021. New tools like the Instagram reels, reply for reply, slide posts and many more has increased the chances of growing any page easily. But, the late release of some features in Pakistan results in a backlash on the business.
However, he has a backup page called @yawning with a solid 400K follower base which he soon wants to include in his 1 million club.
