After working as a telesales executive for many years, Mr Deepak Verma was unsatisfied. He decided to start something of his own, a business that would help other business owners. Life was harsh for Mr Deepak Verma since the very beginning, when his father’s business shattered. From the age of seventeen, he started working in a call centre to support his family while pursuing his bachelor’s degree via distance learning.
One thing that always bothered him was being unable to spend money on what he wanted and not being able to do extra for the family. “Not having enough money to buy things, fulfil the dreams or to meet the needs of my family triggered my mind to achieve more. I wanted a life with financial freedom. To be able to afford what I like.”
Not having financial freedom is one of the biggest regrets of life. A person feels like a prisoner of this diversified market where he cannot fulfil his desires. Mr Deepak Verma understood that financial freedom depends on the earning of a person, so he decided to do something big.
Travelling to Australia with a loan of $30k, he pursued a Masters in Information Systems at a renowned Melbourne university.
After graduating, Deepak struggled to find a job, eventually joining a company that sold digital marketing solutions to businesses. He observed a flaw in the system and, from there, he got the idea to start a business of his own.
“I saw a big gap between selling and delivering, and that’s where I took this one opportunity to go on my own and help these people change their businesses and life.”
Today, Mr Deepak Verma has helped over 400+ SMEs in Australia generate over $100M worth of combined leads and sales. “I have had my ups and downs, but I have created a seven-figure agency over the last few years. I have found my passion and the kick I get in helping businesses become more than they are.”
The secret, according to Deepak, is an understanding of the roles and responsibilities of a business owner, where one has to wear many hats in order to keep their company afloat and spend many sleepless nights worrying about the growth of the business.
