Every business will go through a period of change at one point or another. Change is inevitable in the business world and often essential for continued success whether this is an acquisition, merger, move to a new location, or expanding overseas just to name a few types of change. You need to create a plan working with management and consider what the risks and issues might be and find ways to compensate for these. In addition to planning for the change, you also need to work out how you can minimize disruption and consider how you will communicate with both staff and customers during this time.

This is intelligent because you can find an interim manager that can come in short-term and has expert knowledge and skills to deal with the specific change that you are going through (such as an acquisition) which will help to make the project a success and allows you to focus on minimising disruption and helping staff.
