Home prices will increase in 2019, especially in the urban neighborhoods and cities that attract millennials, Arch Mortgage Insurance Co. reported Thursday.
The national average home price is likely to increase between 2% and 5%, worsening overall affordability, even as some slow-growing markets experience price declines, according to Arch MI’s winter edition of The Housing and Mortgage Market Review.
However – With a relatively low cost of living and population growth projections that outstrip other U.S. cities by two times, Dallas-Fort Worth has been named the top real estate market to watch in 2019.
The Emerging Trends in Real Estate for 2019 report from PricewaterhouseCoopers and the Urban Land Institute ranked the Metroplex as the number one market for overall real estate prospects in 2019 out of 78 other cities.
But as the population in the Metroplex grows, finding affordable housing is becoming more of an issue. Although affordable single-family homes are a contributor to Dallas-Fort Worth’s success, there aren’t enough of them, according to the report. However, as online technology increases there are more tools that can assist home buyers with finding affordable real estate.
That being said, we had a chance to checkout BelowMarketValue.com, a site that focuses on deals and how much equity there is in a property before you pick it up.
BelowMarketValue.com is where home buyers and investors come to find the best residential real estate deals available.
They offer thousands of houses for sale, that are real-time deals vetted from multiple sources as soon as they enter the marketplace, including MLS listings and county tax records.
If you are looking for a deal when buying a home, you will find exclusively discounted homes and plenty of cheap houses for sale on their site and that’s what differentiates them from Zillow.
Once you find the property you are looking for, you can submit an offer with your own Realtor or one of the affiliated Realtors in their network. Also, please remember that these deals are very time sensitive, whereas many of the good deals do not stay on the market more than a day or two.
