Can you tell me the story of your prior successes, challenges, and major responsibilities?
10 years ago I had just been arrested for the 3rd time in 18 months – this time with a dui. I have failed out of university – was a borderline drunk/drug addict who was going nowhere. I then started listening to personal development and my entire life changed. I started my career after finally graduating (took 7 years to get a 4 year degree) and worked in sales in the NBA. From there I was quickly promoted to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the NFL. Decided that I was born for more and had an entrepreneurial spirit that I had to chase and after realizing I made 42k in 2014 by Jan 15th I had quit my job in sports and moved to Utah with the intention of starting a business. First 10 months in business no clue what I was doing no idea how online stuff worked and sold 0.
I stayed alive by playing Daily Fantasy Sports on Draftkings and Fanduel and eeking out a profit every night. In APril 2016 I came across a guy named Billy Gene who introduced me to the idea of a FB agency and it really connected and we ran with it. From that period until March 2017 we were at 100k/mo and have been flying high ever since.
Can you tell me about a time when you almost gave up, how you felt about that, and what you did instead of giving up?
I’ve been sued. Lost clients. Had a -60k loss in a month. Have twice broke my agency because of selling to many clients to fast. Started a call floor that probably cost us about 250k at the low end and was a complete failure. But no matter what I keep moving forward because I have a vision – and I understand entrepreneurship IS NOT easy. Hell every night for 10 months with no sales (I have a sales background and was a top rep so this was very hard) I would stare at the sky at night and just BELIEVE that something was gonna change if I kept moving forward.
