Shane Skaar lives by the motto “through hard work and dedication, anything is possible”. Those words are definitely true when looking at Shane’s life. From overcoming obstacles to building a brand from the ground up, Shane has an inspiring story to any entrepreneur out there in the world today.
Shane grew up in a small town called West Salem in Wisconsin. He was born with a rare chest condition that eventually led to him being bullied, which crippled his self-esteem. At 15, Shane was given the opportunity to correct his condition through painful surgery, which went well for the young entrepreneur. After recovering, with those around him motivating him, Shane began to exercise, and grew a passion for fitness. Shane was driven to become the best version of himself both mentally and physically.
When Shane started creating Streignth with his cousin Talston Stangler, he maintained an extreme amount of discipline, patience, hard work, and positive attitude to overcome obstacles, push through failures, and grow his business into a success. The duo took the mindset of creating the best version of themselves, and applied it to their business, where they continue to improve and grow on a daily basis.
The company is closely tied to Shane’s come-up story, and Shane hopes to share his message of empowerment and positivity with anyone who crosses paths with Streignth. Currently based in La Crosse, Wisconsin, Streignth has become a hit locally, and has expanded significantly into the midwest region of the United States. With orders trickling in from all 50 states, the brand shows no signs having its growth slowed. At the end of the day, Shane tells us that the biggest dream he has is to spread his positive message to as many people as possible, and it seems that he’ll be happy with where his business is on track to end up.
