We took the time to interview executive level entrepreneur Andrew Molen to gain insight on everything you need to know about his imminent plans. After having managed multiple restaurants and hotels, Andrews decided to branch off and take everything he learned from the beginning of his career to do two things — create and innovate. Answering all of your questions regarding his new restaurants, & goals for this upcoming is Andrew himself.
What are the plans for your upcoming restaurants?
“I have three new properties coming. Two located in Boston and one in Southampton, NY. One Boston restaurant will be a cigar lounge with food, beverage, and smoking combination. The second in Boston is a street bistro theme with modern American cuisine combining a fun bar element. This summer, I will be opening a membership only, private club located in the heart of Southampton, New York with a fun mixture of executives, business people, and the everyday entrepreneur.”
What do you want to accomplish this year?
“This year I am looking to accomplish every goal I set for myself. I have been very fortunate to have achieved almost everything I have set forth to this point. I will be turning 40 in August, and I decided it was time to step out on my own and create new goals and a new vision to incorporate everything learned in the past, making something new, fun, and adventurous.”
Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
“In 5 years, I will still be on the same path. Someone asked me what I will do if I retire. I love what I do and will continue until I check out from this planet.”
What’s one thing you want to improve this year?
“Personally, to combine everything that I’ve been doing and finding a way to intertwine them all to coexist with each other. From different cities, venues, and concepts, I want to keep it all on a level playing ground and succeed.”
Is there anyone you’d like to recognize in this article?
“My mother, who introduced me into the industry. From the day I was born I lived in the restaurant. Most parents take their kids home from the hospital, but she took me straight to the restaurant. The school bus picked me up and dropped me off there. I was 5 years old when I popped open my first beer bottle and from then on continued in the industry. If only you can imagine how that continued to progress to where I am now.”
Guided by the life his mother created, Andrew has taken it upon himself to not only innovate, but create and thrive in the restaurant industry. Utilizing the skills and knowledge he absorbed in his early years, his career is launching into the reality he always dreamt about. Molen’s three new restaurants are unique in every sense and he is ecstatic to provide the ultimate dining experience for all of his customers. Andrew Molen’s executive status in the restaurant industry remains inviolable and he is destined for eminence.
