Can you tell me the story of your prior successes, challenges, and major responsibilities?
I began my career by building a successful Social Media Marketing Agency out of my college dorm room. After building up my online marketing business I became partner, shareholder and Director of Digital Marketing at a successful blockchain consultancy startup where I helped raise over $100 million for various blockchain projects and built my division to 20+ full time employees. Since then I have turned my attention to helping other budding entrepreneurs start and grow their own successful online businesses with my online education and coaching programs.
Can you tell me about a time when you almost gave up, how you felt about that, and what you did instead of giving up?
I spent the last year of my university career delivering pizzas at night and coding websites during the day as a self-taught freelancer to pay my tuition and rent. Finishing my degree felt like an unachievable accomplishment in itself, let alone finding the time and money to invest in mentorships and digital coaching programs in order to be equipped to pursue my entrepreneurial dreams once I had. I graduated with an overwhelming desire build something meaningful of my own rather than joining the 9 to 5 rat race, but with not much direction to go on, and no money for rent I felt that I was presented with an unclimbable mountain.
However, instead of accepting a cookie-cutter, entry level job, I spent the next 6 months sleeping on a friends floor, absorbing, learning and working as much as I could in order to catch my big break. I soon realised that social media marketing would be a blue ocean in which I could build my first real company and through hard work and determination, managed to build a company that gave me financial freedom and the resources to chase larger goals.
