Background
Why did you decide to become an entrepreneurs?
M: Like so many other entrepreneurs, I have always wanted a sense of freedom, the ability to create and inspire, yet on my own terms.
J: I dont remember why? But I remember when. I was around 10 when I washed my first car. So yea 10. I think it was the money at the time, now its a bit more complicated. I guess it becomes a lifestyle, and before you know it you’re an entrepreneur. At some point you become passionate about making something, from nothing and watching it grow. From there hope you inspire other to do the same.
Who were your biggest influences? Was there a defining moment in your lives?
M: Women like Oprah Winfrey, and Eve, who have done an unprecedented job in merging the Entertainment and Business
J: My Dad was is biggest influence. He really just gave me good examples of leadership and business. My Grandfather also influenced me in certain areas. I’m also fan of Sean Comb, Troy Carter Clive Davis, Quincy Jones, and Mark Zuckerberg. A defining moment in my life was when I started to understand my purpose. Around the sametime I made my first bad investment early 2009.
Now
What are you both working on? How did you come up with these ideas?
M: We are presently evolving and expanding our boutique Brand Management and Consulting Firm, Sinolife Media and Consulting. Currently we are transitioning from a referral only business to now actually marketing our company’s services.
J: We needed to open up our network and still keep it exclusive. It has been a tough past few months transitioning and coming up with a game plan.
How are your products/services different and unique? What’s the vision?
M: I believe what truly makes our service unique is that myself and my partner are a dynamic duo, and our customers essentially get the dynamic duo that is us, as a part of their customer experience. Our backgrounds and professional experiences balance one another so well that it only yields for a great result! Nowhere else, at no other Brand Management/Consulting Firm will our clients get the opportunity to gage my business partner and I and our approach to the consulting business.
J: Referral only wasn’t easy getting traction. But that model created strong relationships with premium creators and businesses. During our artist consulting services you are mentored, educated and coached in your field of expertise. Atlanta is a growing market, businesses need competitive branding and marketing and we provide them both.
Who are your customers? How do you find them?
M: Our customers are visionaries. They are those with a desire to succeed in the world as an entrepreneur. They are creators and business architects. They are those with passion who just need the right guidance to get them on a path success or advance them to the next level.
J: Customers come by way of our website or social media. Networking.
Did you experience failure along the way? What did you learn from it?
M: Yes! With any business, there are learning curves, and sometimes failure is a part of that. I learned to accept it and immediately think of a way to overcome or push forward and then implement that.
J: Failure came in many forms. Still does. I learned you have to position yourself in place where you don’t fail twice at the same thing, but instead fail at different things that are New,
Value-add questions
Give the readers the best entrepreneurship advice you have.
M: The best entrepreneurship advice that I have is to not let fear hold you back. You have to be willing to take risks, step out on what seem like crazy possibilities, and run with it. Once you do that, commit, and the rest will fall into place, if you work hard.
J: Advice is know what you want. Plan where you want to be. And write down everything.
Teach us something about {internet marketing, social media ads, fundraising, sales funnels or another topic} Can you recommend any favorite websites to learn that topic?

J: Be confident and direct while on social media. Use the tools each social media platform has. Take a few minutes to understand the difference between the type of platform you are marketing on and what message you want to display.
