Which of your accomplishments do you value the most?
Lansana: I’ve graduated high school.
Got into Cornell University.
Dropped out of Cornell University.
Got my own apartment and established a career path.
Got to know myself and stop hating myself.
Stepped outside of my own ego to truly understand and relate to others.
Got over past trauma and biases so I can live my best life.
What are your goals for the next 5-10 years.
Lansana: In 5-10 years, I’ll be sitting on a prosperous rap career, after having made my name in the personal branding and business/political consulting world!
How have your tribulations accounted to your successes?
Lansana: All of my hardest times in life have made me better than I was before. I’ve racked my brain and used meta cognition to figure out where I went wrong, and what not to do in the future. That’s going to take me far. Making mistakes isn’t the issue, it’s making the same mistakes repeatedly.
If you could give advice to the reader, what would it be?
Lansana: Failure is an action, not an identity. Failing is something that happens to you, it’s not something that you are. No matter who you are today, you can be whoever you want, as long as you’re willing to study, believe and never give up. All cliches, all apply.
