Many young people today follow the same route as many that came before them. The typical path is high school, higher education, and then finding a job working for a company. However, more and more young men and women are finding their own unique pathways and exploring how to make a living moving against the grain. One astounding example of this is Ariel Levy, who at just 19 years old has found himself managing professional athletes.
Levy began his journey into athlete management at 15 years old, when he started diving into extensive research about the industry, learning what it takes to be a good manager, and what an athlete needs on a daily basis. After putting in hard work and hundreds of hours, Levy signed his first professional athlete at the age of 17.
It wasn’t always smooth sailing for Levy. As he began to make his way into the industry, many began to criticize him, with other managers and agents telling him he was moving too fast, was too young, and wasn’t doing things the normal way. Despite his industry peers looking down on him, Levy overcame the challenge and went on to accomplish more than many of the same agents and managers that criticized him in just a few years.
Now, at the age of 19 years old, Levy represents more than 10 professional athletes with ties to the NBA and the NFL. So far, Levy and his company represent more than $40 million in player contracts. With plans to grow and acquire top tier athletes, Levy is building himself and his business into an industry powerhouse.
In addition to his athlete management, he is also building another company: Forever Young Management. This new company focuses on growing social media and online platforms for athletes and offers business management services for a plethora of clients. Already running two successful businesses and working with professional athletes at just 19 years old, Levy shows great promise and potential for the coming years, and will certainly be a name to keep track of.
