Many people try to find their true path, or what life has for them when they are in their late 20s. However, Gee Bryant, a successful, young entrepreneur had already found out what being an entrepreneur means in his early teens.
How could he have done that at such a young age?
Bryant has a long story to share of his way to becoming a 7-digit entrepreneur within what people can say is a young age. However, to him, it is not the age that defines your success but persistence and discipline. Herein, we will see some landmarks in his way to being a real iron man in the field of business.
Growing up in Philadelphia, he always kept himself busy doing something. At one time Bryant was a lawnmower, at another time, he owned a clubhouse that saw him earn an hourly rate of 25 cents per kid. But that was just the beginning of a long walk that no one knew that it would make Bryant a multimillion-dollar entrepreneur. During his teenage years, unlike many teenagers who always love living a languorous life, Bryant was buying and selling cars.
He never at one time despised what he was doing or what he had because it was the only thing he had. His life was simply defined by great hustles. It is worth saying that Bryant knew the right frogs to kiss. His gambles seemed to be right.
Climbing the Mountain of Success
Bryant attributes three values that help him to date in his entrepreneurial life. He says that he is unswerving on matters involving discipline is a great factor. He also says that he follows the Universal Laws. The greatest one that strikes him every day is that you will reap what you sow. Wishing other people’s success also helped Bryant in that advance step from 6 digits to 7 digits because he says that you cannot do it all by yourself. Delegating and mentoring people within your organization helps you put effort into growing the business rather than being overwhelmed with daily tasks.
Obstacles and Triumphs
One thing to note is that entrepreneurship, unlike other talents like athlete and singing, is a learning process that never ends. “Most people rarely appreciate what is meant by making big money in business,” says Bryant.
According to him, other factors will be learned on the way. For example, keeping the business running. You need to allocate some funds that will ensure that there is cash flow. Secondly, there are taxes and expenses as well. Most hardships that I avoided were due to those factors.
Bryant also mentions that the hardships helped him learn that discipline is the main factor that helped him make this legendary step from 6 figures to 7 figures. Additionally, there are other factors that I will point out. Firstly, Bryant highlights learning to manage your money is a great strength that helps you in the entire journey of success.
In summation, reading seems to be a common factor for most successful people. Even Bryant is not left behind on this. He is also a great reader who didn’t start reading on his own until he was 23 and from then he has read and listened to hundreds of books. He says that after he started reading and understanding what applied information could do , he ended up making his first million while he was 28.
“I see so many people that want to make things look good, but inside they know they should be doing what they’re called to do but are scared of starting at the bottom,” Bryant says. He adds by saying that at no point should you allow the world to dictate the steps you are making.
Lastly, he encourages other entrepreneurs to focus on where they are and really get clear on where they want to be; cut out the distractions and secondary activities that aren’t serving you or your purpose, and stop getting distracted by things that have nothing to do with your goals.
