In the heart of New York City, where the very best in the Jewellery industry converge on the infamous 5th avenue, there’s still plenty of room for newcomers.
Located in Manhattan’s Little Italy, Vladdy’s Diamonds is one of those newcomers.
Boasting a hard-hitting celebrity clientele, and bold, highly customised work, Vladdy’s diamonds represents a new age of Jewellers rising to the surface, changing the industry one flipped Rolex at a time.
Founded in 1998 by Russian immigrant, Vladdy Aminov, Vladdy’s Diamonds is positioned to set a big impression. Their work is fearless, diamond encrusted, and their family-orientated ethos shines through their long-lasting relationships with their clients. Did we mention this is a clientele that includes the likes of Cardi B and G-Eazy?
‘“It never fails to amaze me how precious metals and stones with brilliance become family heirlooms and I’m humbled to be a part of that.”
Today, the highly competitive global jewellery market is fragmented between large manufacturers facing tough competition with local manufacturers. Businesses like Vladdy’s represent the majority of Jewellers in the US.
When asked about the success of his business, Vladdy attributes it to a combination of workmanship, positivity and the ability to recognise failures as an essential part of business and growth.
“Every business has ups and downs. The journey thus far has made me strong, patient and blessed.”
Vladdy immigrated from Russia to the US when he was a mere 8 years old. After a short stint in high school and tough internships at local jewellers, he found his spark in Vladdy’s Diamonds and today, looks to the future for expansion of his flagship store in New York to other US states.
