What are you working on? How did you come up with this idea?
Bruno Domingues: I’ve just launched a new lead generation program for Coaches, Consultants and Service Providers, based on generating leads from Facebook Groups. In August 2016 after investing $9000 in training for myself to the positioning of my offer and streamline my business, I discovered Facebook Groups for the first time. I went on explore not expecting much out of it but as I engaged in conversations and participated in the groups, people started adding me as friend and coming talk to me, sometimes to talk about their business, other times to ask about mine.
In that moment I started writing down every post I made and measuring what outcomes it had, eventually building a step-by-step approach to maximize attracting ideal clients while providing value to the group, without any pitching or promoting.
Over time I got to know more about the business owners in the best group I found, Entrepreneurs Lifestyle Group which had around 35000 members. A few months later the right opportunity came up and had a chat with the group owner, Gallant Dill, who owns several businesses and he became my client, additionally I got promoted to admin and go-to person in my area, to provide even more value to the group members, which has now grown to over 80000 people.
With all of this, many asked me to help them generate leads from Facebook Groups which prompted me to build a Lead Generation program and a whole system behind it to support my clients, the program now has it’s own CRM, about 25 video modules and activities, weekly Q&A calls and 1-on-1 support to make sure every person get’s a personalized approach that fits their business, niche and personal goals.
How is your company different?
Bruno Domingues: Unlike most businesses who offer programs like ours, who just build a cheap WordPress membership area using a plugin, we decided to invest in building an entire custom system from scratch that doesn’t have all the downsides of WordPress or other Open Source systems, it is extremely fast as pages load instantly and there are no limitations since our full time development team is constantly improving it with feedback from our clients. Currently our clients have instant access to our custom CRM, Link Shortener, updated list of the best Facebook Groups which is linked to the CRM to track how many leads and sales come from each group, Viral headline building tool, Activity management to manage tasks, calls and meetings, Calendar and much more as we’re making public soon our auto-responder, the landing page building tool, our webinar platform and our call booking platform.
We decided to build all these tools integrated into our platform so our clients don’t have to spent hundreds of dollars per month paying subscriptions to different providers neither waste countless hours setting up, figuring out how each one works and how to integrate them all. On those platforms they also do not have the ability to ask for changes or new features and have them within a few weeks.
What’s your dream with your company?
Bruno Domingues: We’re looking to open our platform to other program and solutions providers, make it even easier to use and bring in more providers who have high quality offers so that their clients can use our platform as a membership area rather than use other lower quality systems.
How do you creatively advertise?
Bruno Domingues: We advertise on Google, Facebook and generate large amounts of leads from Facebook Groups. At this point with a single post with a 2000 active people audience we can generate more than $100k in leads (potential sales), with a large active audience such as the 80000 members Facebook Group that has around 39000 active weekly, one post can generate up to $3.5M in leads. This just shows how powerful these groups can be when we have the right system in place.
What types of businesses do you work with?
Bruno Domingues: I only work with coaches, consultants, service providers, at one point I worked with a few ecommerce businesses but felt I didn’t have enough experience in that area to deliver the outcome clients deserve. I have been since 1996 in the consulting and coaching industry and doing it since 2004 with my own company.
What were your biggest failure and biggest success? What did you learn from them?
Bruno Domingues: The biggest failure was when I tried to “get there” on my own and in 1 year invested $24000 in an office, staff and barely had any growth.
I realized then I needed to invest in training for myself rather than try to make it on my own like I always did. Once I decided I needed to invest in training it was about finding the right program to invest in, which I did. It cost me $9000 and within 2 months I was making in a month what I used to make in a year.
The big lesson I learned was that trying to make it on my own rather than get training is a bad idea as it massively slows down progress. I’m planning to invest in a program from the same provider to learn how to build and manage a sales team as that’s the next stage, expand our current sales team and streamline sales operations.
Value-add questions
Give the readers the best entrepreneurship advice you have.
Bruno Domingues: Don’t try to make it on your own, find the best training program you can find that delivers the outcome you want, save up some money and invest in it. Don’t allow anything to distract you while doing the program, follow instructions, be coachable, don’t think you know better than the people teaching you. I’ve seen some people fail because they suddenly think they know better than the guys making big money who are coaching them.
Teach us something about {internet marketing, social media ads, fundraising, yoga, sales funnels or another topic you pick} (must be actionable)
Bruno Domingues: One simple tip that will get you free leads from day 1 – On your personal Facebook Profile Intro, add a short link (must be trackable) to your landing page and say who you work with, keeping it very precise.
For example on my profile intro I wrote:
“Founder of “Evolution” (http://evol.li/ev-fb-profile) for Coaches, Consultants & Service Providers”
That link is a short link from our link shortener so we track how many people go to the link, how many leads and sales we get from it. Since I added it about 1 month ago we got 48 people who visited it, a few leads and one $7000 sale. This with less than 2000 FB friends. It works best if your FB friends are your ideal clients and the more you have the more will take a look at what you do.

What’s something new you’ve learned in the past month?
Bruno Domingues: I learned that making certain type of polls are the best way to identify the ideal clients in a group and get them to talk about their current business needs while providing them with value at the same time.
Teach us something we don’t know (it’s vague and open-ended on purpose)
Bruno Domingues: While most people see competitors as a competitor, in the influencer perspective we see our “competitors” as potential allies. Every business has their own strengths and weaknesses and you can build Join-Ventures or even get a lot of work outsourced to you from larger businesses.
Think about your competitors as potential clients/partners and a lot of good things can come out of it.
What do you think you do better than most people?
Bruno Domingues: What people usually notice most about me is my ability to focus and find the simplest quickest path to solve problems.
What should an entrepreneur focus on?
Bruno Domingues: Focus on the biggest outcome and don’t let distractions get in the way. Entrepreneurs often deflect and procrastinate to avoid facing their fear of failure. Meaning they mostly need more clients for example but end up working in everything else except in generating more business, this is a form of procrastination and avoidance that is very common. Entrepreneurs should focus 200% on getting to the outcome, being consistent and don’t let distractions from all the new shiny things that pop up every day get in the way.
What are some of the best books you’ve ever read?
Bruno Domingues: When I was looking to improve my communication with clients I read a very good book about NLP which allowed me to immediately put to practice what I was reading with one of my best clients.
“The Leader Who Had No Title” from Robin Sharma is also quite good for those struggling with focus, self-belief and discipline.
“Implementing Iso 9001:2015: Thrill your customers and transform your cost base with the new gold standard for business management” is excellent for streamlining business processes.
Where do you see yourself and your product in a couple years?
Bruno Domingues: I see a one-stop platform with a few dozen high quality providers providing massive value and outcomes to tens of thousands of people every month.
