Welcome to Future Sharks Danny! Tell us a little about yourself:
I am a student of life, an adventure junkie and relentless go-getter. For 5 years I had experienced failure after failure after failure. In the last 6 months, I’ve been able to hone in on some unique skills acquired through the last 5 years to finally accomplish my long-sought-after pursuit: establishing a source of residual income via the Internet.
City where you’re from: I was born in the Bronx, NY, raised in Ponce, Puerto Rico & currently reside in York, Pennsylvania!
Hobbies: I love to learn! Spend time with loved ones! And travel.
Favorite quote: “When a person really desires something all the universe conspires to help that person to achieve their dream.” Paolo Coelho, The Alchemist

Background
Why did you decide to become an entrepreneur?
I decided to become an entrepreneur when I was in the 6th grade. Our teacher asked the students what they wanted to be. I wrote: “Big business owner.” She laughed. Also once I dropped out of college, I knew I had to do something or I was going to end up homeless so I couldn’t keep a job to save my life.
Who were your biggest influences?
Was there a defining moment in your life? I’ve gotta say that my biggest influences have been my parents – they always instilled belief in us. They raised us (I have a bro & a sis) with the mentality that we deserve to live life on our own terms.
Now
What are you working on? How did you come up with this idea?
I currently operate a Facebook Ad Agency – Adcension Pro. We help large & small businesses 10x their profit by generating high-quality, specifically targeted demographics using the Facebook Ad platform. This idea isn’t mine (obviously) but I got started – funny enough – through clicking a link on a Facebook Ad.
I am also creating a podcast titled The Entrepreneur Collective Podcast – we’ll be interviewing entrepreneurs from all over the globe so stay tuned.
How is your product/service different and unique? What’s the vision?
Adcension Pro not very different from other Facebook Ad agency in that the product is virtually the same: a professional sales funnel & lead generating system – and that’s ok, I didn’t intend that part to be different.
The difference comes into full-bloom within my client relationships. I make sure that they are fully satisfied and if not they don’t need to pay me. Also, I am fluent in Spanish & English so I can create ads that appeal to these two gargantuan demographics.
The vision moving forward is to continue expanding into larger markets. My income goal is $1M/month with Adcension Pro. Eventually I’d like to create my own course teaching others how to create their own agency.
Who are your customers? How do you find them?
My customers are typically chiropractors, dentists, plastic surgeons, gyms, yoga studios, real estate companies, restaurants, etc. I find the bulk of my clients through networking and facebook ads of course!
Did you experience failure along the way? What did you learn from it?
Oh my god… You know that part in The Dark Knight Rises when Bane says to me Batman “You merely adopted the dark. I was BORN in – molded by it.” Yeah well replace “dark” with failure and that was me throughout my 5 year journey as an entrepreneur. I was a fry-cook for 1 whole year so yeah.
As a side-note, I’d like to say, failure should become your best friend. Failure is the crude ground on which your own unique success will be built on. Learn from each stumbling block and make from them your stepping stones to reach your goals.
Nothing should fire you up more than some good ‘ol failure!
Value-add questions
Give the readers the best entrepreneurship advice you have.
My best advice is quit being lazy. I was broke for 5 years because, honestly, I was lazy. I wasn’t putting in the hours, the sweat, the tears. I was only half-time. There’s a certain magic in 100% commitment.
Teach us something about {internet marketing, social media ads, fundraising, sales funnels or another topic} Can you recommend any favorite websites to learn that topic?
My greatest advice on social media marketing is be real. There’s too many people faking it till they make it and that doesn’t provide value to anybody. Be you – and do so unapologetically. People will like you more for it and your business will profit from it.
What should an entrepreneur focus on?
2 things: Self-awareness & hustling. The Latin’s had a saying: “Temet Nosce” – in english that translates to “Know Thyself.” Focus on cultivating an inner-awareness. What I mean by that is, spend time alone and ask yourself “who am I?” “who do I want to be?” and “what am I willing to DIE for?” That will be your most powerful tool against failure and your most potent teacher along the path. Hustling is self-explanatory: GET OFF YOUR ASS!
What are some of your favorite books?
As far as business goes, 7 Habits of Highly Effective People is a foundational book – it taught me the power of cultivating character & self-awareness. The Alchemist by Paolo Coehlo helped me realize the power of listening to and following your heart. Man’s Search For Meaning by Victor Frankl has taught me that the meaning of life is a life of meaning.
Where do you see yourself and your product in a couple years?
I see myself & my business freaking HUUUUGE. No – all jokes aside – as I stated earlier, I see me moving into teaching Facebook Ads to students at a certain point in the future and hiring a staff to manage the Facebook Ad’s piece for me.
