Luis Camacho is a serial entrepreneur, born in Guadalajara, Mexico. Camacho migrated to the United States when he was a mere 10 years old. He moved to the states, went through school, and graduated high school with ease. After high school, he furthered education at Arizona State University. Camacho graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in marketing, and he was ready to take the world by storm.
At the age of 19, Luis took his passion for marketing and business and started a clothing line. As Luis was only 19 and didn’t have a budget to promote his new clothing line, he turned to social media as his route to promote and sell his products. After seeing success marketing on social media, he quickly found that he was passionate about digital marketing. Then he realized that there was a place where he could polish up those skills, digital marketing agencies, which to his surprise were not as concerned with academics as they were with real-world experience.
He went on to work with a digital agency, writing their social media content to start off. His goal while at this agency was to eventually lead their paid advertising department, which he was able to accomplish in less than a year. He also spent time studying the ins and outs of the agency world as he realized he’d want to have one of his own.
After working with paid advertising, several agencies and big clients he put more high-income skills under his belt, investing in more education via online courses and conferences. It was during these events took place that Luis discovered his true passion, which was SaaS (software as a service).
With the discovery of his love for SaaS, he started Fantôm Agency. Fantôm is a global agency helping SaaS companies all around the world discover new revenue online with a four-stage framework which allows them to increase MRR & ARR. In order to accomplish this Luis’ Fantôm Agency identifies areas of opportunities and executes a massive number of tests to understand the type of advertising that will resonate best with the client’s target audience while making sure that advertising is contextual and valuable. They do this via paid digital advertising on platforms such as Google, Facebook, and LinkedIn; and have a track record of doing it successfully. Simultaneously, Luis is currently working on building his first SaaS product — which will start off as a simple solution to many digital marketers and will eventually evolve into a strong ad spyware solution — and bringing the first version to the market within a few months.
