One of the most important things that you can do in your life is to live at a peak state. Studies have shown that you see more possibilities when you have positive thoughts. But how do we do it amongst everything going on in our lives and in the world? It’s easier than you think. Take a second and look at what kind of thoughts are running through your mind on the regular while we go over these empowering thought patterns.
The definition of “thought patterns” are “a habit of thinking in a particular way, using particular assumptions.” After working with thousands of people in my life, I’ve narrowed down the best thought patterns into a list of 7. These are thought patterns that I’ve compiled that I see on a regular basis that come from those who are living a great life.
They Believe In Themselves
If there is one trait I’ve noticed that exists in the lives of those who are truly happy is that they believe in themselves. There is a large difference between those who truly believe in themselves and those who don’t. Belief is the one motivator that makes someone pursue greatness and it stems from how one thinks and believes.
They Know They’re Worth Much More
Those who lead the greater life are those who have a purpose bigger than themselves. They have goals that are bigger than average and they work harder than most. They aren’t afraid to get their hands dirty and strive for becoming the best in their field.
They Focus On Their Strengths
Why struggle doing what you don’t like to do or what you’re not good at? I’ve always found the those who lead a great life always focus on doing what they love and doing what they know best. They let the experts take care of what they’re best at. They know that there will be more rewards in the long run for doing so.
They Think And Speak Differently
You are what you eat. More importantly, you are what you think and do. What you consume on a regular basis in your mind and in your heart will show outwardly and the great know this. They surround themselves with people who lead great lives. They pay attention to the words and thoughts that enter their mind. They are aware of their surroundings and make sure that they are at peak state in all things. When things do get hard, however, they take a step back and regroup as to not go backwards.
They Are Action Oriented
They focus on the 80/20 rule of doing. They spend 20% of their time reading, studying, and learning, and they then spend 80% of their time applying it. They know that massive success takes massive action and they are always on the go. They have and set goals on a regular basis and have checklists that they complete frequently. They look to inspire others to do so and love helping others take the next step.
They Have A Great Attitude Towards Others
They’re always happy, even through tough times. They are in a peak state at all times and help others do the same. They look for the good in others and help others reach their potential by letting them do what they do best. They understand that everyone is different and they love the variety that others have to offer. They are patient with themselves and others during projects and certain activities.
They’re patient with themselves and more importantly, they’re patient with others. They accept that everyone is on the same journey. They know that everyone is fighting their own battles and they see past the present and look to the future. They see greatness in others and in themselves. They see the bigger picture and look for opportunities to expand and grow because they look at everything like a marathon, not a sprint.
It’s really not as difficult as it looks. Trust me, it can go a long way.
