Arthur Sanchez is a musician who runs a brand that bears his name. Many of us know how difficult the music industry can be, so Arthur decided to change that by creating a way for artists to get support at the start of their journey.
“Arthur Sanchez is my brand and it’s my musician name. The type of business I run is my brand, but also it’s a helpful tool for artists who need the support to get started in the music industry. I am currently working with a colombian artist to help his music reach new fans and ears.” Arthur explains.
From a very young age, Arthur fought for what he wanted by working hard and being persistent. He had to face many challenges as a rising artist and entrepreneur. He even had to sleep on his parents’ floor when he could not make ends meet. He pushed through these hard times and now through his brand, he seeks to bring new talent from all over, and help other artists who like him have had difficult times.
“I know the struggle and I know what it feels like to look left and right and not see any help in sight, being confused about the direction to take. Arthur Sanchez is not only my name, but it is also my brand/company that seeks to bring new music to the world and also bring new talent from all over.” Arthur shares.
In the pursuit of his dream, Arthur was presented with the opportunity in 2014 to record his first song, which was called “I’ve been watching you.” This was a moment of impulse that led him to aim higher, so he learned how music was created from scratch.
“I was always one of those who got what they wanted by working hard and being persistent. I knew what I wanted to do for the rest of my life and that was to create music.” Arthur states.
Arthur found the motivation to do what he does in the pursuit of independence and creative freedom. He wanted to be creative, have his own brand, and be out of his home with his parents. In addition, his goal was to give others help and support as they start their career, just like he wished he had had on his journey to success.
“I wanted to have independence and creative freedom while at the same time creating opportunities for other artists who may not have the resources available. Creative freedom allows the artist to have complete control over their content and what they bring out into the world, for me when I was designing my brand/logo and creating the name everyone will recognize me, I wanted something that represented me and something that made me unique that could be of image and sound. I didn’t want to be locked up with anyone and be told to go with this look or sound and that was the biggest reason I chose to be independent.” Arthur says.
Like all of us, at some point, we have had to overcome some obstacles. For Arthur, his obstacle was hate, which he was able to use as a tool to motivate him. As stated, he has never let these difficulties get him down.
“The biggest obstacle I have overcome so far has to be all the hate and all the doors that close in my face… Managing hate in social media at first was a difficult obstacle to overcome, but after a while, it has become something that no longer bothers me and I use it as a tool to motivate myself to be stronger. “ Arthur adds.
Arthur plans to continue growing his business and helping new artists. He wants to make sure that people get the help they need and deserve. He will also release a few of his own singles in the upcoming weeks.
“My next projects this year are a few singles that I will leave each month for the rest of the year, as well as an EP. On July 3rd I will release my new single “They Want Me Dead” which will be available on all major streaming platforms. And I plan to release the music video at the end of August.”Arthur shares.
