Garrett Bair has always had an affinity for athletics and fitness, and grew up with the hopes of attending college to play football. He would go on to attend The Ohio State University, but his football dreams took a back seat as majoring in pre-law had him devote all of his attention to his studies. But as he fell into a slump of alcoholism and uneasiness, his old love for fitness was rekindled when he began going to the gym with his friends.
The gym was a release for him initially, but it quickly grew into an obsession. Garrett devoted his full attention to improving his physique, and he saw tremendous results. After returning home from his sophomore year at college, he received praises from his hometown friends. They all noticed how much muscle he’d put on at school, and how incredible his physique was. After that summer, Garrett began to seriously consider pursuing a full time career in the fitness industry.
Putting actions behind his thoughts, Garrett decided to forego law school and begin training full time at a local gym. While working full time, he also began building a social media presence and a fitness brand. Because of his incredible work ethic and his awe inspiring physique, his brand quickly took off.
Today, Garrett works as a social media influencer boasting over 200,000 followers on his Instagram, travels the country modeling for various photographers, and trains clients individually. The fitness industry is incredibly saturated, and Garrett’s ability to make powerful connections has been game changer for his brand.
Aside from pursuing excellence in fitness, Garrett strives for greatness in all other aspects of his life. He’s never wanted to live an average life, and pursued entrepreneurship as a result. He was never satisfied with average grades, and achieved a 4.0 GPA in school as a result. When he created his personal brand, he was never satisfied with an average following and has hundreds of thousands of followers as a result. His relentless pursuit of excellence has afforded him the ability to live the life he wants, and he’s forever grateful for the life he’s created for himself.
The only regret Garrett has at this point in his career is not pursuing fitness sooner. He knows that if he’d started years earlier he’d be much more successful now, but he knows that with the path he’s on he will be able to achieve everything he’s dreamed about and then some.
