To be a successful and respected entrepreneur, you don’t necessarily have to do what others are doing. You can learn from their story, but it will do you much more good if you find your own road to success. That is exactly what Susie Carder did – she was inspired by achievers, but had to find something within her to do the rest of the work. Susie was not born a millionaire. Her big break came when she decided to search deeper within herself to find the natural fighting spirit that is present in each and every soul alive in the world today. We spoke to Susie Carder about her road to success and gathered very valuable information. She builds multi-million dollar businesses easily and chooses whether to sell or keep them. Susie Carder’s story is the inspiration you have been looking for.
Who is Susie Carder?
Nothing describes her better than calling her a serial entrepreneur. She owns two multi-million dollar companies and helps up and coming entrepreneurs as well as the big fish in business to build small or transform non-performing ventures into large enterprises. She is also a best-selling author and international speaker. A mother of two beautiful girls, Susie Carder works three days a week and spends the rest of her time being a parent. Susie has guided hundreds of companies to develop personalized operation systems in finance, sales, and marketing. One of the companies she sold for millions of dollars was developed while she was working from her kitchen table (but not because she could not afford an office, or didn’t have one). Susie enjoys a level of freedom that most entrepreneurs pay for. So, how does she do it? Why is it so easy for her, while it is not for you?
Building Multi-Million Dollar Businesses the Susie Carder Way
1. Do What You Love
The first thing you need to understand about creating a business is that for it to be successful, a great part of what it is about has to be inspired by passion. For one to gain the status of self-made millionaire, they have to look within themselves and do what they love. That is the secret – it all comes from within. Once you have understood this basic secret of success, you are ready for success .Do you know why passion is key? Doing what you love will keep you going even when things get tough. You will be able to stick to your business even when the money is low. Susie says, “You need to ask yourself, am I building a business because I love it or just because it is the new trend?” Her passion is in helping other people and deriving happiness in seeing them achieve. After understanding this, she discovered a way of monetizing her passion and that is how she has been able to build herself into one of the most respected female entrepreneurs in the country. She even has her own method of achieving the unthinkable – the Predictable Success Method. According to Susie, you can tell how successful you will be by choosing to do what is right, at the right time.
2. It Doesn’t Need to Be Perfect; It Just Needs to Get Started
You don’t need to have it all figured out. If you have an idea, go ahead and start. Do not entertain thoughts
about how difficult it’s going to be, or whether your approach is perfect. When worked on, businesses grow and evolve. All you have to do is take it easy on yourself, make a plan and start. Once it begins to take shape and form, you can change some things here and there to suit your preferences. Sometimes, it is your clientele that maps out the course of your venture’s development so stop worrying about what might or might not work for you.
3. Count on Your Skills and Strengths
Not everything you can do is good for business. Only the right skills make up the necessary investment where money can’t. During the first weeks of starting up, your personal strengths will be your greatest resource. Do not overstretch, but do your best. Identify what you can do naturally and invest it into your business. Only then will you be in a position to tell what else you need, then you can reach elsewhere for a helping hand.
This approach will help you establish a culture for your business. You will also know how good you are at some things, and where you need to improve. This way, you will not only develop your business career, but also yourself.
4. Face Your Fears and Weaknesses
After you have discovered your strengths, work on your weaknesses. Basing your business on your passion means it is a big part of what you are. It also means that what affects you also affects your business in some way. That is why it is important to face your fears and weaknesses so that they cannot take a negative toll on your businesses. If you are not giving your business 100%, get out of the comfort zone and take the risk. Only then will it make sense to you that being successful is as serious as people like Susie Carder make it sound.
Susie says, “Focus and have a positive mind, then you can live the reality of your dreams.”
5. You Don’t Always Have to Start from Scratch
It is not a golden rule that successful entrepreneurs have to start creating businesses from scratch.
Sometimes, it makes more sense to buy an existing business and grow it than starting your own.
If you cannot take the challenge of starting a business from the ground, buying an already existing one doesn’t make you a failure. Just make sure you buy the right business and work on it to attain what you have always dreamt about. We all have it in us, but only a few truly discover it – that inner drive to succeed. Susie Carder is living proof that with the right mindset and motivation, everything is possible. Don’t just dream, wake up and make it come true.
